Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Engage in well-defined software engineering initiatives that involve real-world codebases and development obstacles.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within intricate, multi-file codebases.

• Develop new backend or full-stack features.

• Refactor and transition existing systems.

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Produce clear technical specifications and reference implementations.

• Assess code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality.

• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure points.

• Ensure consistency among requirements, code, tests, and anticipated outcomes.

• Deliver high-quality production code and technical solutions.

• Provide thorough and precise project deliverables.

• Generate clear technical documentation and constructive code-review feedback.

• Consistently meet project requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with at least one additional programming language such as Java, C#, or Go.

• Backend or full-stack experience with production-level systems.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Ability to navigate and debug large, complex multi-file codebases with confidence.

• Experience in code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.

• Advanced proficiency in written English.

• Keen attention to detail and strong technical problem-solving abilities.
