Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Create and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Produce clean, efficient, reusable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Collaborate with SQL/NoSQL databases to enhance application performance.

• Engage in application architecture, technical design, and code review processes.

• Diagnose production issues and apply effective solutions.

• Develop unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.

• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for application deployment.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of practical experience in developing, designing, and managing scalable enterprise applications.

• Proficiency in Java 8/11/17+, Core Java, OOP, Collections, and Multithreading.

• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture, API integration, and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

• Competence in Hibernate and JPA.

• Experience working in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.

• Proficient with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and Postman.

• Familiarity with Maven and Gradle.

• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.
