This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Paraguay.

📋 Description

• Participate in well-defined software engineering projects for a premier AI research facility.

• Troubleshoot and resolve problems within intricate, multi-file codebases.

• Develop new backend or full-stack features.

• Refactor and transition existing systems to new frameworks.

• Create and enhance unit and integration testing frameworks.

• Draft clear technical specifications and reference implementations.

• Evaluate code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure scenarios.

• Ensure consistency among requirements, code, tests, and expected outcomes.

• Deliver high-quality production code and technical solutions.

• Generate complete and precise project deliverables.

• Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Offer thoughtful and constructive feedback during code reviews.

• Consistently meet project requirements with reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Proficient in at least one additional programming language, such as Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience with backend or full-stack production systems.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Capability to confidently navigate and debug extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience in conducting code reviews, refactoring, and managing production migrations.

• Advanced proficiency in written English.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with technical problem-solving abilities.
