Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and fix issues within intricate, multi-file codebases

• Develop new backend or full-stack features

• Refactor and transition existing systems

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites

• Draft clear technical specifications and reference implementations

• Evaluate code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure points

• Ensure alignment between requirements, code, tests, and anticipated outcomes

• Produce production-quality code and technical solutions

• Deliver comprehensive project outputs, thorough testing and validation, precise technical documentation, and constructive code-review feedback

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of relevant professional software engineering experience

• Strong expertise in Python

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript

• Familiarity with at least one additional programming language such as Java, C#, or Go

• Backend or full-stack experience with production systems

• Experience with testing frameworks like pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing

• Ability to navigate and debug extensive, multi-file codebases

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English

• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving abilities
