This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.
• Supervise and assist a team of escrow officers and/or assistants managing purchase transactions.
• Ensure that escrow services are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations.
• Uphold outstanding client service standards.
• Monitor pipeline workloads and distribute tasks to maintain team capacity balance.
• Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk transactions.
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on best practices, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to address title issues and coordinate closing schedules.
• Review and authorize closing documents and disbursements as necessary.
• Track and report team performance metrics to leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
• At least 3 years of experience in title and escrow, specifically related to purchase transactions.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with escrow and title software systems, such as SoftPro.
• Proven leadership experience is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of title insurance, escrow procedures, and state regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in title and escrow, focusing on purchase transactions.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience is strongly preferred.
• Escrow Officer license or certification, if mandated by state, is preferred.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a desk/computer is necessary.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Must currently reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NE, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, or WY.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States at this time.
• Fully remote work arrangement available.
• Core business hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
• 40 hours of work per week.
• Opportunity to work in-office at the Virginia Beach, VA location if local.
