This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main processor for intricate company purchase orders and manage exception handling within the Purchasing department.
• Mentor and develop Purchasing Coordinators through training and guidance.
• Perform regular assessments of significant vendor purchase orders and relay any issues to the project team.
• Assist in maintaining the organization of order requests in the Purchasing inbox on Kayako.
• Engage in follow-up communications with project teams and vendors regarding pending change orders to avert order mistakes and delays in payment collection.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to address complex job issues and resolve financial discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Work closely with project team members to generate timely and precise change orders.
• Develop departmental forms and training materials for both internal and external use.
• High School Diploma is mandatory; some college experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Proficiency in using software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, is required.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds is necessary.
• Must be capable of meeting specified physical demands, such as regularly talking or hearing, frequently using hands or fingers, and occasionally standing, walking, sitting, and reaching.
• Must possess close vision, distance vision, and the capability to adjust focus.
