This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Procurement Manager.

• Assist in fulfilling purchasing requirements for materials, tools, equipment, and services related to projects and operational scopes.

• Ensure that appropriate materials, equipment, and services are procured for projects while taking into account risk profiles and commercial alignment.

• Support and standardize procurement processes, procedures, and best practices.

• Create procurement plans based on project timelines, risks, and specific needs.

• Source, evaluate, and oversee vendors and subcontractors throughout the entire procurement process.

• Review procurement activities, pinpoint risks, and assist in achieving cost savings and risk reduction.

• Manage purchase orders, subcontract agreements, approvals, documentation, and records.

• Integrate commercial risks and prime contract stipulations into vendor and subcontractor agreements.

• Engage in contract reviews, project kickoffs, and project meetings.

• Facilitate weekly procurement meetings for ongoing projects.

• Cultivate strong vendor relationships and promote supplier management initiatives.

• Assist junior team members and identify improvements in procurement efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Construction Project Management, or 2 years of purchasing experience, or 4 years of relevant purchasing experience in construction, utilities, or industrial settings.

• Preferred accreditations include SCMP, PMP, CPIM, or CSCP.

• Demonstrated progression of responsibilities and complexity in work throughout career.

• Strong technical understanding of HV/MV electrical equipment and substation systems.

• Experience in the procurement, sourcing, or purchasing of electrical equipment and materials.

• Proven background in sourcing, negotiations, and risk mitigation activities.

• Proficient computer skills in Windows 365, Adobe, ERP systems, Procore, and ProjectTeams are preferred.

• Experience with ViewPoint (Vista) Construction Software is preferred.

• Capability to undergo pre-employment screening, including professional reference checks and a criminal record check.
