Public Sector Partnerships Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Direct ElevenLabs' interactions with government entities and officials throughout Colombia, concentrating on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.

• Establish and nurture connections with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society organizations.

• Track, assess, and provide guidance on new regulations affecting the company.

• Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry gatherings.

• Assist in internal policy formulation alongside the Legal, Safety, Security, and other teams.

• Offer strategic advice to company leadership regarding regional policy trends and their business ramifications.

• Encourage government adoption of ElevenLabs' products and services in collaboration with the GTM team.

• Develop and execute policy campaigns and impact initiatives.

• Report directly to the LATAM Regional Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in policy roles within the public and private sectors, whether in-house or at a firm, with a focus on AI and technology.

• In-depth knowledge of the AI policy landscape in the region.

• Familiarity with AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.

• Proven track record in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes.

• Experience in coalition-building.

• Background in public policy within Colombia.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief government officials and policymakers.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• A strong interest in AI and emerging technologies.

• Capability to work across functions in a dynamic startup environment.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage ambiguity effectively.

• A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
