Public Relations Assistant – Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Engage in all interactions with clients.

• Oversee daily program activities, which include composing press releases and pitches.

• Continuously cultivate and enhance relationships with key media contacts.

• Develop strategic approaches and implement tactics effectively.

• Prepare status updates, forecasts, and summaries for senior management.

• Focus primarily on the Alternative Therapies sector, encompassing cannabis and psychedelics, along with some B2B technology accounts.

• Assist clients in articulating their narratives with clarity, credibility, and intent.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• Previous experience in a PR agency ranging from 6 months to 3 years.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• A collaborative team member who can also take charge of relevant projects.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.

• Established media connections within the alternative therapies industry.

• Proficient in navigating dense, highly regulated markets.

• Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.

• AAE salary range: $50K - $55K.

• AE salary range: $55K - $70K.
