This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Actively seek out and engage with K–12 school districts, colleges, universities, and various educational organizations.
• Cultivate relationships with administrators and key decision-makers in education.
• Introduce life skills education programs while assessing their fit within institutions.
• Develop and oversee a pipeline of potential institutional partnerships.
• Perform outreach via phone and email, along with follow-up communications.
• Meet virtually with decision-makers from schools and colleges to grasp their requirements.
• Showcase programs and illustrate their benefits to students.
• Respond to inquiries, address concerns, and assist prospects in evaluating program appropriateness.
• Maintain relationships throughout the decision-making journey.
• Manage qualified inbound opportunities, deliver presentations, and advance prospects towards partnerships.
• Identify promising markets within schools and colleges and determine the right decision-makers.
• Refine messaging, outreach techniques, presentations, and follow-up approaches.
• Create scalable strategies for expansion into new districts, colleges, and geographic regions.
• Contribute to the sales strategy and support the company's growth in K–12 and higher education sectors.
• Performance will be evaluated based on relationship management, pipeline development, presentations, and revenue generation.
• Background in EdTech sales or business development, partnerships with K–12 schools or districts, higher education business development, educational program sales, school staffing/account management, enrollment or admissions sales, educational consulting, or SaaS sales targeting educational institutions.
• Proven experience in building relationships with superintendents, district administrators, principals, school administrators, curriculum and instruction leaders, student services leadership, college and university administrators, career services or student success leaders, or other educational decision-makers.
• Comfortable initiating phone interactions with unfamiliar contacts.
• Capability to transform initial conversations into scheduled presentations.
• Ability to independently conduct professional virtual presentations.
• Proficient in consultative selling techniques.
• Consistent follow-up during potentially lengthy education sales cycles.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Skill in helping to establish processes within a start-up environment.
• Availability for most working hours during standard educational business hours in the U.S.
• Existing relationships within K–12 or higher education are a significant advantage.
