PT Business Development Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Mentor and enhance the skills of BDRs through consistent one-on-ones, call evaluations, role-playing scenarios, and immediate feedback.

• Propel team performance by meeting daily, weekly, and monthly activity and demonstration targets.

• Exemplify best practices through personal prospecting, calls, messaging, follow-ups, and handling objections.

• Track team metrics and KPIs, such as calls made, connects achieved, conversations held, demos conducted, conversion rates, generated pipeline, and quota fulfillment.

• Offer continuous sales coaching informed by performance analytics, call recordings, and behavioral observations.

• Facilitate the onboarding and integration of new BDRs by providing training, role plays, shadowing, systems education, and early-stage performance oversight.

• Strengthen sales procedures, workflows, qualification standards, CRM requirements, and prospecting techniques.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and relay trends, challenges, and suggestions to BDR leadership.

• Establish accountability through expectation-setting, commitment follow-ups, and addressing performance concerns.

• Collaborate with AEs, Marketing, and Sales Leadership to enhance lead quality, handoffs, messaging, and overall sales outcomes.

• Inspire and engage the team by cultivating a positive, competitive, and collaborative work culture.

• Assist with team projects and competitions, including campaign launches, prospecting efforts, talk tracks, and incentive schemes.

• Aid in performance management by documenting coaching sessions and collaborating on development plans.

• Stay informed about product, market, and competitive insights, ensuring the team articulates Prompt's value proposition effectively.

• Act as a resource for daily BDR inquiries.

• Participate in the recruitment and interviewing of BDR candidates.

• Report directly to the Manager of Business Development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BDR or SDR.

• Preferably 6-12 months of management experience.

• Experience in SaaS or EMR Health tech is preferred.

• Must possess a growth mindset, with a desire to continually enhance leadership skills.

• Passionate about empowering and fostering the professional development of team members by identifying their strengths and areas for improvement.

• Capable of thriving in a self-directed work environment, adept at navigating uncertainty and proactively initiating actions to meet objectives.

• Ability to effectively delegate tasks and projects, demonstrating awareness of resource allocation and talent evaluation.

• Highly proficient in both written and verbal communication skills.

• Skilled in navigating challenging conversations, both internally and externally, seeking guidance from leadership when necessary to address complex situations effectively.

• Able to gracefully manage difficult internal situations by pausing to reflect. When uncertain, seek support from leadership and return to teammates with a well-considered response.

• Capable of leading team meetings to educate colleagues about processes and the Prompt product.

• Proficient in communicating across teams effectively.

• Must have a passion for understanding and learning software.

• Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and willing to work extra hours when required.

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects, adapting quickly, and meeting deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

• Comfortable reaching out to leadership for assistance when necessary.

• Capable of managing your own workload independently.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and Slack.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must reside physically in the United States.
