Psychotherapist – LPCC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess and provide treatment for mental health disorders for Spark patients exclusively through Televideo.

• Primarily work with adult patients.

• Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients.

• Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and situations.

• Regularly meet with patients to offer counseling and treatment.

• Modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Perform continuous evaluations of patient progress.

• Include and advise family members when appropriate.

• Refer patients to external specialists or agencies when required.

• Keep detailed records of patient sessions and progress.

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure client confidentiality.

• Focus solely on scheduled patients; no additional responsibilities are expected.

• Collaborate with virtual administrative and clinical support staff.

• Work autonomously while receiving assistance and supervision as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active state license in one of the following: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, or Wyoming.

• Qualifications: LPCC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• Preferred minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience as an independent therapist.

• New therapists are encouraged to apply and will receive supervision.

• Previous credentialing with BCBS, United Health, and CIGNA is preferred.

• Interest in providing services from home via Telemedicine.

• Some familiarity with an EMR system is beneficial.

• Capability to work independently with available assistants.

• Skill in establishing positive, trusting relationships with patients.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.

• Ability to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Competency in conducting ongoing assessments of patient progress.

• Capability to maintain comprehensive records and uphold client confidentiality.
