Online Mental Health Therapist

📋 Description

• Conduct online therapy sessions for adults, couples, or adolescents.

• Prioritize client care while BetterHelp manages administrative tasks and overhead costs.

• Facilitate sessions from a confidential and professional setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist / PsyD credentials.

• Experienced Mental Health Therapist or Counselor dedicated to assisting adults, couples, or teenagers.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling.

• Hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

• Must have a fully independent license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.) and the capability to provide therapy without supervision.

• A private and professional environment is required for conducting sessions.

• Strong written communication skills are essential.

• Professional liability insurance is mandatory.

• A reliable Internet connection is necessary.

• Applicants must currently reside in the US.

• Interns and therapists needing supervision are ineligible to provide therapy services on BetterHelp.

• Substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches are not accepted unless they hold an additional mental health counselor license.
