Licensed Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver independent mental health therapy via BetterHelp’s online telehealth platform.

• Build a complete clinical caseload through regular referrals.

• Facilitate scheduled live sessions and engage through journal entries, audio and video messages, clinical worksheets, as well as goal setting and tracking.

• Utilize clinical judgment and expertise to identify effective and clinically suitable methods for each client.

• Concentrate on clinical practice while BetterHelp manages client acquisition, billing, support, and operational tasks.

• Collaborate with clients who align with the therapist’s areas of expertise and specific populations or presenting issues.

• Conduct sessions from a secure and professional setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience (required).

• Master’s degree (required).

• Full Independent Clinical license, such as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psychologist, or PsyD.

• Must possess a full license from a State Board to provide therapy independently without supervision.

• Experience in counseling adults, couples, and/or teens.

• A private and professional setting for conducting sessions.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Professional liability insurance.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Currently residing in the United States.

• Not an intern and does not require supervision to deliver therapy services.

• Substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches are not eligible unless they hold an additional license as a mental health counselor.
