Licensed Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver independent mental health therapy via BetterHelp’s online telehealth platform.

• Build a comprehensive clinical caseload, potentially within the initial 30 days.

• Conduct scheduled live sessions and interact through shared journals, audio and video messages, clinical worksheets, and structured goal setting and tracking.

• Utilize clinical judgment and expertise to identify effective and clinically suitable strategies for clients.

• Collaborate with clients aligned with the therapist’s specific areas of expertise.

• Concentrate on clinical responsibilities while BetterHelp manages client acquisition, billing, support, and operational tasks.

• Work with designated populations or specific presenting concerns.

• Employ secure, encrypted communication via phone, video, and text.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience (mandatory).

• Master’s degree (mandatory).

• Full independent clinical licensure, such as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psychologist, or PsyD.

• Fully licensed by a State Board to practice therapy independently and without supervision.

• Experience in counseling adults, couples, and/or teenagers.

• A private and professional setting for conducting therapy sessions.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Professional liability insurance.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Must currently reside in the US.

• Not an intern and does not require supervision to provide therapy services.

• Substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches are not eligible unless they hold an additional license as a mental health counselor.
