Psychotherapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct phone consultations.

• Offer psychotherapy services to a client caseload of around 28–30 for full-time roles, which includes individuals, couples, groups of 3 or more, and families.

• For full-time positions, 25 completed sessions per week is considered full-time; smaller caseloads of 20–24 may be available.

• Provide psychotherapy services to a caseload of approximately 18 for part-time roles.

• Keep accurate case notes, logs, and all necessary documentation.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions as required.

• Optionally, write a blog four times a year.

• Engage in weekly or biweekly individual supervision.

• Participate in weekly group clinical supervision, if available.

• Assist in the development and execution of G&STC workshops, training, and seminars as opportunities arise.

• Carry out marketing tasks for oneself and G&STC as needed or desired.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC license in New York.

• Reside in NY or NJ.

• Commit to a minimum of 3 years with G&STC.

• Education and training with demonstrated success in modalities such as CBT, IFS, mindfulness treatments, trauma-informed practices, somatic treatments, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy.

• At least 1 year of experience delivering individual, couples, multiple-partner relationship, and/or family therapy.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals.

• At least 1 year of experience addressing sexual-related issues such as sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual pain, and compulsive sexual behaviors.

• High competency in gender, sex, and sexuality issues, with specific expertise in relevant LGBTQ+, alternative sexuality, and sexual-related topics.

• Well-organized and able to submit progress notes and respond to emails promptly, adhering to G&STC policies.

• Submit both a cover letter and a resume.

• Therapists operating their own private practices or working at another group practice will not be considered.
