Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient behavioral health services to individuals of all ages facing psychological challenges.

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to pinpoint presenting issues, evaluate mental status and risk, collect psychosocial history, and assign precise DSM diagnoses.

• Offer individual, group, and family therapy utilizing person-centered approaches and industry best practices.

• Evaluate psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention while collaborating closely with psychiatrists.

• Keep medical records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Refer individuals and families to suitable external agencies and share information within confidentiality parameters.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to de-escalate crises and facilitate the lowest safe level of care.

• Offer Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and be available for on-call support after hours and on weekends as necessary.

• Foster positive working relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding sources, and human service entities.

• Engage in ongoing agency quality improvement initiatives.

• Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for their professional development and to address complex client situations.

• Travel to community sites, agencies, and outreach locations as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be from North Carolina only.

• Must possess one of the following credentials: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Participate in educational training/seminars to stay current with best practices.

• Have knowledge of and adhere to all agency policies and procedures.

• Ability to drive and travel to community locations, various agencies, and other outreach sites as assigned.
