Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with individuals and families to identify presenting issues, evaluate mental status and potential risks, gather psychosocial history, and assign accurate DSM diagnoses.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy utilizing person-centered approaches and best practices.

• Evaluate psychiatric crises and collaborate with psychiatrists to provide crisis intervention.

• Maintain necessary medical records as required.

• Refer individuals and families to suitable external agencies and provide information while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to mitigate crisis situations and encourage the least restrictive level of care.

• Offer Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and on-call assistance after hours and on weekends as necessary.

• Foster positive working relationships with communities, staff, monitoring and licensing agencies, organizations, funding sources, and human service entities.

• Engage in the agency’s continuous quality improvement efforts.

• Adhere to agency policies and procedures.

• Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for development and complex client situations.

• Travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach sites as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be from North Carolina only.

• One of the following credentials is required: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Familiarity with the current DSM manual and all five Axes is essential.

• Capability to provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients across all age groups.

• Proficiency in psychiatric crisis assessment and crisis intervention.

• Ability to maintain medical records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Commitment to upholding confidentiality standards.

• Skills to conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination.

• Availability to provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and on-call support after hours and on weekends as required.

• Capacity to cultivate positive working relationships with communities, agencies, organizations, and human service providers.

• Knowledge of and adherence to agency policies and procedures.

• Ability to offer clinical consultation.

• Willingness to drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach sites.
