Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient behavioral health services to individuals of all ages facing psychological challenges.

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting issues, evaluate mental status and risk factors, collect psychosocial history, and assign precise DSM diagnoses.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy utilizing person-centered approaches and evidence-based practices.

• Evaluate psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention in partnership with psychiatrists.

• Keep medical records in alignment with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Refer individuals and families to suitable external agencies while adhering to confidentiality protocols.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to mitigate crisis situations and encourage the lowest safe level of care.

• Provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and be available for on-call support after hours and on weekends as necessary.

• Foster positive working relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding sources, and human service entities.

• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the agency.

• Adhere to agency policies and procedures.

• Offer clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for their professional growth and in challenging client cases.

• Travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach sites as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be from North Carolina only.

• Required qualifications include one of the following: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Participate in educational trainings and seminars to stay informed on the latest best practices.

• Drive and travel to community sites, diverse agencies, and other outreach locations as assigned.
