Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with individuals and families to identify issues, evaluate mental status and risk, gather psychosocial history, and assign accurate DSM diagnoses.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy services to clients of all ages.

• Evaluate psychiatric crises and offer crisis intervention in collaboration with psychiatrists.

• Maintain necessary medical documentation.

• Refer clients and families to suitable external agencies and provide information while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and coordinate services.

• Provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours as well as on-call support after hours and on weekends as required.

• Uphold licensure and participate in educational training and seminars.

• Foster positive working relationships with communities, clients, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding resources, and human service providers.

• Engage in the agency's continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Adhere to agency policies and procedures.

• Offer clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for professional growth and challenging client situations.

• Drive and travel to designated community locations, agencies, and outreach sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be from North Carolina only.

• Must hold one of the following credentials: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Familiarity with the current DSM manual and all five Axes.

• Understanding of person-centered philosophies and best practices in behavioral health service delivery.

• Capability to assess psychiatric crises and deliver crisis intervention.

• Ability to maintain medical records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Ability to uphold confidentiality standards.

• Competence in providing service coordination and de-escalating crisis situations.

• Availability to provide emergency services coverage during clinical hours and on-call support after hours and weekends as required.

• Capability to drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach events.
