This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the design, development, and upkeep of extensive licensure and certification assessments.
• Collaborate with licensure and certification clients to assess testing program requirements and targeted outcomes.
• Determine how DRC’s psychometric solutions align with clients’ program objectives.
• Ensure that psychometric practices are uniformly applied and documented according to industry standards.
• Confirm that quality assurance criteria, project timelines, and deadlines are adhered to.
• Manage client relationships and scopes of work throughout the various phases of assessment development.
• Conduct and supervise item and test analyses, test equating, standard setting, score reporting, and the creation of technical reports.
• Collaborate with clients on reliability and validity studies, as well as other psychometric initiatives.
• Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts and examination committees.
• Represent DRC at industry conferences and deliver presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist in developing psychometric content for RFP submissions.
• Contribute actively to DRC’s licensure and certification team.
• Support other special projects or teams as required.
• A Master’s Degree is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in the psychometric, measurement, analytics, or high-stakes testing sectors is required.
• A Ph.D. in educational measurement, psychological measurement, evaluation, assessment, or a related field with a focus on psychometrics is preferred.
• Experience in developing and scoring certification examinations in the healthcare sector is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing client relationships for large-scale assessments.
• Previous experience in conducting standard settings.
• Prior experience in executing job analyses.
• Proficient in working with complex data structures and capable of manipulating and summarizing large datasets.
• Solid understanding of statistical theory, particularly regarding Rasch models, many-facet Rasch, research methodologies, and applied measurement.
• Demonstrated capability to lead both internal and external teams, as well as complex projects.
• Proven ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Capacity to simplify intricate information and convey it to a diverse range of audiences.
• Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Winsteps, or other IRT software) is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff at all organizational levels.
• Punctuality and reliability in reporting to work as scheduled.
• Ability to work under supervision and accept constructive feedback.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to engage effectively and work respectfully with diverse teams.
• Capability to maintain high performance during increased workloads.
• Proficient in setting and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple job responsibilities concurrently.
• Capacity to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to use a computer monitor, keyboard, and/or mouse for up to 8 hours daily.
