This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Perform remote psychiatry evaluations lasting 55 minutes and 25-minute follow-up appointments that incorporate medication management along with brief psychotherapeutic assistance.
• Prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically suitable.
• Collaborate with therapists through a shared electronic health record (EHR) system and consultation areas within an integrated care framework.
• Work alongside physicians and clinical leadership, providing insights to enhance clinical care delivery.
• Utilize data-driven tools and measurement-based care to customize treatment strategies and enhance patient outcomes.
• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Licensed to practice in North Carolina.
• Active DEA license in North Carolina.
• Additional PMHNP licensure in New York, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Washington, or California.
• Willingness and commitment to obtain licensure in additional states.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering mental health services as a PMHNP, including remote outpatient telepsychiatry with adult patients.
• Strong passion for high-quality, measurement-based, collaborative care.
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with a dedicated psychiatric team to refine care delivery systems.
• 90-day ramp-up period with full pay at 100% while establishing caseload.
• Access to optional built-in AI documentation tools.
• Flexible self-scheduling for up to 8 hours per week, available Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 8 PM.
• No late-night, weekend, or on-call responsibilities.
• Compensation for administrative tasks, clinical team consultations, required training, and client no-shows.
• 24/7 crisis line support for client risk assessments.
• Coverage assistance available when taking time off.
