Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Perform initial and follow-up evaluations through telehealth.

• Provide care for mental health and substance use disorders.

• Prescribe medications when suitable and respond to member inquiries.

• Maintain documentation in the Healthie EHR system.

• Work collaboratively with the care team.

• Participate in occasional scheduled team meetings.

• Offer evidence-based treatments for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.

• Collaborate with members and the care team to make medication decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice, and in your state of residence if it is not Oregon.

• Unrestricted and active license in Oregon.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant past experience may be considered for those with less than 2 years as a PMHNP.

• Experience with prescribing Suboxone.

• Active DEA registration.

• Willingness to acquire multi-state licensure.

• Medicaid enrollment is an advantage.

• Compassion for members dealing with behavioral health issues.

• Proficiency in using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.

• A quiet, private office space with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth consultations.
