Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth, Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee member care in collaboration with counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers.

• Offer evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and mental health issues.

• Perform initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations.

• Provide care for conditions related to substance use and mental health.

• Prescribe medications when appropriate and address member inquiries.

• Complete necessary documentation in the Healthie EHR system.

• Work in partnership with the care team.

• Participate in occasional scheduled team meetings.

• Make medication-related decisions at the provider's discretion, in collaboration with members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active, unrestricted license in Arizona.

• Hold an active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) where you practice, as well as your state of residence if it is not Arizona.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment.

• Relevant previous experience may be considered for candidates with less than 2 years of PMHNP experience.

• Experience with prescribing Suboxone is required.

• Must have an active DEA registration.

• Willingness to pursue multi-state licensure.

• Compassion for members dealing with behavioral health challenges.

• Comfortable using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.

• A quiet, private office equipped with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth visits.
