Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP-BC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric assessments

• Diagnose and address behavioral health issues throughout various life stages

• Create personalized medication management strategies

• Offer evidence-based psychiatric treatment

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and diverse treatment teams

• Engage in Multidisciplinary Case Conferences (MDCC)

• Facilitate care coordination with therapists and psychologists

• Recognize patients who may benefit from ADHD assessments, neurofeedback, EMDR, Spravato, or IV hydration treatments

• Inform patients and their families about available treatment options

• Keep accurate and timely clinical records

• Provide empathetic, culturally aware, patient-centered care

• Collaborate across various domains including psychiatry, medication management, individual and family therapy, ADHD testing, neurofeedback, Spravato treatment, EMDR, IV hydration therapy, and NeuroWellness programs

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid PMHNP-BC certification

• Current, unrestricted APRN license in at least one U.S. state

• DEA registration or eligibility

• Prescriptive authority in accordance with state laws

• Proficient clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to provide care to patients of all ages

• Commitment to enhancing patient outcomes

• Team-oriented and collaborative

• Inquisitive and dedicated to lifelong learning

• Compassionate and culturally sensitive

• Comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams

• Enthusiastic about contributing to the development of innovative behavioral health programs

• Eager to advance into future clinical leadership roles

• Preferred: Multi-state licensure

• Preferred: Experience with children and adolescents

• Preferred: Experience in adult psychiatry

• Preferred: Experience in telepsychiatry

• Preferred: Background in integrated behavioral health

• Preferred: Experience with underserved communities

• Bilingual skills are a plus
