Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, CA License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform telehealth evaluations, assessments, and medication management sessions for clients based in CA

• Work in partnership with therapists and the supervising psychiatrist to deliver integrated care

• Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings

• Keep accurate and current documentation in the EMR

• Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families

• Stay informed about psychiatric care practices, telehealth trends, and CME requirements

• Independently manage clinical time, caseload, and clinical notes

⛳️ Requirements

• Active NP license in CA

• PMHNP certification in good standing

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

• Ability to handle a high client load during busy periods

• Dependability and personal accountability

• Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of psychiatric medications

• Proficient telehealth skills, including familiarity with EMRs and virtual platforms

• Clear and compassionate communication with patients and team members

• Ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to a collaborative care team

• Dedication to providing equitable and effective care to diverse communities

• Must reside in CA, NM, NV, FL, or TX

• Must adhere to a consistent Monday-Friday 9am-6pm Pacific Time schedule, with an alternative Monday-Thursday schedule available
