Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – CA License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform telehealth evaluations, assessments, and medication management for clients situated in California.

• Work in collaboration with therapists and the supervising psychiatrist to deliver integrated care.

• Track patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings.

• Ensure accurate and current documentation in the EMR system.

• Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families.

• Stay updated on psychiatric care practices, telehealth developments, and CME obligations.

• Maintain a consistent and structured weekly schedule to facilitate continuity of care and teamwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid NP license in California.

• PMHNP certification in good standing.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Ability to manage a high client load on busy days.

• Comfort with a salaried, non-per-session compensation model.

• Dependability and personal accountability.

• Capability to independently manage time, caseload, and clinical documentation.

• Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of psychiatric medications.

• Proficient telehealth skills.

• Familiarity with EMRs and virtual platforms.

• Clear and compassionate communication with patients and team members.

• Ability to work autonomously within a collaborative care team.

• Dedication to providing equitable and effective care for diverse communities.

• Must reside in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Florida, or Texas.

• Availability Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm Pacific Time, or an alternative Monday-Thursday schedule.
