Psychiatric Clinical Quality Peer Educator – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the clinical documentation of psychiatric providers to ensure compliance with Headway’s clinical quality standards.

• Examine initial assessments and progress notes for deficiencies in evidence-based practice, patient safety, and established rubric standards.

• Analyze clinical decision-making, evidence-based diagnostic criteria, risk assessments, and medication safety protocols.

• Perform quality-assessment tasks, including calibration exercises and inter-rater reliability evaluations.

• Offer both asynchronous and live one-on-one remediation support to providers as necessary.

• Provide education to providers through constructive, education-focused feedback related to documentation requirements, patient safety, and quality benchmarks.

• Carry out review and documentation tasks within Headway’s designated systems.

• Uphold HIPAA-compliant privacy and confidentiality of patient information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a current PMHNP/MD with an active license.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience conducting quality chart reviews or audits for healthcare delivery organizations.

• Background in coaching or training clinicians on documentation that meets clinical care standards.

• Capability to critically assess AI-assisted review tools and provide constructive feedback.

• Exceptional communication and educational abilities.

• Experience disseminating information to large and diverse audiences.

• Skill in delivering supportive feedback rather than punitive measures.

• Comfortable adapting to healthcare technology platforms and changing workflows.

• Ability to operate within designated systems while complying with HIPAA and privacy/confidentiality regulations.

• Must establish or already possess an LLC or S-Corp.
