PRT Actuary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the proprietary PRT pricing model for initial premium assessments

• Create and execute the PRT pricing model for recalculating premiums

• Enhance and maintain the PRT pricing model along with associated processes

• Perform complex participant benefit calculations, including QDROs, death benefits, and late retirement scenarios

• Evaluate standard calculations

• Draft and assess PRT contract provisions

• Contribute to the expanding Pension Risk Transfer product through special initiatives

• Seek actuarial accreditation when applicable

• Ensure good standing within the actuarial student program

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience

• More than four years of experience in an actuarial environment with increasing responsibilities

• ASA/ACAS level or equivalent designation

• Strong preference for pension-related experience

• Excellent ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Capability to collaborate with other functional areas as needed

• Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver accurate results

• Development of self-validation skills is essential

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team

• Skill in building and utilizing collaborative relationships to achieve work objectives
