This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct actuarial calculations and analyses that support product development, financial management, reserving, experience studies, risk management, and various business initiatives.
β’ Examine data, assumptions, and outcomes, investigating and addressing issues as necessary.
β’ Assist with actuarial research, audits, financial reporting, and requests from regulatory bodies or rating agencies.
β’ Generate documentation, reports, and presentations for management as well as internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Recognize, propose, and execute process enhancements, incorporating emerging technologies and AI-driven tools.
β’ Collaborate with Accounting and Operations on cross-functional projects.
β’ Comply with company policies, actuarial standards, and the internal controls framework.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree with a major or concentration in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
β’ 0-3 years of relevant experience is required.
β’ Completion of one exam toward the eventual achievement of ASA is required.
β’ A commitment to pursuing the FSA designation is required.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities are required.
β’ Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks or projects.
β’ Proactive with the ability to follow through to meet deadlines.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Willingness to learn new skills and propose improvements to processes or procedures.
