This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Promote the profile and interests of the medical radiation technology profession through regional advocacy and relationship management.
• Foster and maintain partnerships with both governmental and non-governmental entities.
• Conduct meetings with both elected officials and non-elected government representatives.
• Engage with stakeholder organizations.
• Execute informational and awareness campaigns.
• Serve as a liaison between provincial members and CAMRT to influence strategy and decision-making.
• Organize and consult with the CAMRT-ATL Advisory Council.
• Participate in regional member engagement and outreach initiatives.
• Gather and analyze member feedback.
• Communicate association initiatives to members in Atlantic Canada.
• Ensure regular communication with members.
• Collaborate on the regional website and enhance social media presence.
• Plan and implement regional activities within established guidelines.
• Assist in organizing regional educational events.
• Support CAMRT leadership with CAMRT-ATL operational planning and budgeting.
• Travel throughout the Atlantic region for member outreach and attend CAMRT meetings in Ottawa.
• MRT Certification is mandatory.
• Active membership with CAMRT is required.
• Strong understanding of the MRT profession and the challenges faced by professionals in Atlantic Canada.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and manage various projects.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce promotional materials, formal correspondence, reports, and news articles.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
• High proficiency in computer applications including relational databases, word processing, spreadsheets, web content management, Facebook, Instagram, Zoom, and Teams.
• Capability to analyze data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
• Experience in delivering public presentations.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong professional networks.
• Bilingualism is considered an advantage.
• Must operate from a home office located in one of the four Atlantic Provinces.
• Proximity to major urban areas and an airport is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Atlantic region and to Ottawa.
