This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Negotiate, develop, and implement strategies for managing contracts with network pharmacy providers.
• Offer strategic and operational assistance to the network product team.
• Collaborate in the creation, development, and upkeep of network products.
• Act as an escalation point for relationship issues concerning assigned network providers.
• Work collaboratively with leaders from Finance, Legal, Retail Network Operations, and Sales & Account Management.
• Ensure the delivery of accurate, high-quality outputs and operational excellence for internal business partners.
• Oversee strategic pharmacy relationships, negotiations, contracting, initiatives, and strategies within chain and independent pharmacy communities.
• Lead and support initiatives aimed at achieving objectives and securing organizational backing for strategic retail initiatives.
• Partner with product teams on network product initiatives.
• Provide cross-functional support for the development and negotiation of contracts involving new products and networks.
• Offer strategic direction, leadership, and mentoring to team members.
• Oversee the team's budget.
• A BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in PBM, Pharmacy, and/or Managed Care.
• At least 2 years of management or leadership experience.
• Proven effective leadership and budgetary responsibility.
• Strong strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and negotiation capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient presentation skills for both internal and external leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional project management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, email, and spreadsheet software.
• Willingness to travel to pharmacy providers as necessary.
• A home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds when working remotely.
