Provider Adoption – Onboarding Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the onboarding and adoption of Interoperability clinical data connections among providers within a designated region.

• Spearhead provider engagement initiatives, including outreach, introductory discussions, implementation meetings, provider-focused calls, follow-up communications, and activation assistance.

• Articulate connection opportunities, capabilities, and benefits to enhance provider comprehension and adoption.

• Foster collaborative relationships across Interoperability, Network, Provider Experience, and other internal departments.

• Oversee onboarding activities among providers and internal teams to ensure timely progress toward activation.

• Maintain processes for tracking, reporting, and communication to support onboarding progress, connection status, and stakeholder visibility.

• Present dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics to providers and internal stakeholders.

• Address barriers by collaborating with internal partners and identifying issues.

• Recognize workflow inefficiencies and promote process enhancements.

• Handle competing priorities and coordinate across workstreams by applying project management principles.

• Assist in regional initiatives aligned with Interoperability priorities, including the Aetna Forward Program.

• Excellent partnership, collaboration, communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.

• Strong project management skills, encompassing planning, prioritization, coordination, and management of multiple initiatives across conflicting timelines.

• Proven experience in maintaining tracking, reporting, and communication processes.

• Proficient in utilizing performance data to facilitate stakeholder discussions and inform business decisions.

• Strong aptitude for problem-solving, process improvement, and navigating ambiguity in a cross-functional setting.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems.

• Understanding of Health Information Exchange concepts.

• Knowledge of the health insurance sector.

• Preferred experience in driving provider onboarding and engagement.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare, insurance, or healthcare consulting, or completion of the General Management Development Program (GMDP) alongside relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, health information management, public health, or a related field is preferred.
