Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Supervise the proposal processes for business development while ensuring high standards of quality.

• Manage the proposal pipeline and procedures for all prospective customers and projects.

• Collaborate with project management, technical, and business teams to generate and price proposals.

• Convert customer requirements into project scope, timelines, costs, and pricing structures.

• Guarantee the accuracy, quality, consistency, and alignment of proposals with customer expectations.

• Engage in client discussions to clarify their needs.

• Provide technical insight during customer interactions concerning new business opportunities.

• Work alongside project management and scheduling teams to ensure client timelines are realistic and achievable.

• Enhance proposal quality through collaboration with business and technical leadership.

• Assist field business development as a consultant to help customers choose the most suitable services.

• Support Sales and Project Management in securing new business contracts.

• Maintain proposal templates and standardized boilerplate language.

• Contribute to the upkeep of costing templates.

• Coordinate cross-functional responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

• Oversee the workflow of the Proposals and Business Development teams.

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within pharmaceutical development.
