This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Proposal Manager in crafting outlines, compliance matrices, kickoff materials, and schedules that adhere to government guidelines.
• Analyze and interpret RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders to ascertain response requirements, evaluation criteria, formatting standards, and submission protocols.
• Oversee content development in collaboration with Contracts, Pricing, Recruiting, and technical contributors.
• Ensure version control and document tracking are maintained using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• Track deadlines and confirm that all necessary components are submitted in the appropriate format, sequence, and delivery method.
• Create reviewer guides, gather feedback, and make necessary edits for content, structure, and compliance.
• Finalize deliverables, which includes formatting, proofreading, conversion, and packaging.
• Write and refine proposal sections such as past performance, staffing plans, compliance matrices, management strategies, and cover letters.
• Confirm that narrative content meets customer needs, evaluation factors, and M6 messaging.
• Convert technical input into clear language suitable for evaluators while ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and terminology.
• Recognize opportunities to incorporate graphics and visual aids that elucidate complex concepts and boost evaluator engagement.
• Adjust boilerplate materials to align with opportunity-specific priorities and eliminate irrelevant or outdated content.
• Keep the content library updated by tagging reusable material and archiving finalized documents.
• Identify and flag missing or low-quality content, collaborating with the Proposal Writer or Content Manager to address gaps.
• Develop templates, checklists, contact lists, and formatting tools.
• Contribute to lessons learned and enact process enhancements to improve proposal results.
• Collaborate closely with the Proposal Manager, Business Development Manager, and subject matter experts to produce polished federal proposals.
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in supporting federal government proposals.
• A strong grasp of compliance requirements related to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
• Familiarity with APMP or Shipley methodologies and experience in coordinating structured proposal processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, coordinate across departments, and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, GovWin, eBuy, and Seaport.
• Familiar with AI tools such as ChatGPT for drafting, editing, and formatting content.
• Dedicated to delivering compliant, well-crafted, and client-focused proposals.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing strong time management skills.
• Effectively collaborates across functions and communicates clearly with stakeholders.
• Proactively seeks clarification when needed and does not assume missing information.
• Willing to work extended hours or weekends as necessary to meet proposal deadlines.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Dual Citizen.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
