Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assume full responsibility for the RF(X) response process from its inception to final submission.

• Oversee the decision-making process regarding bid/no-bid to prioritize strategic opportunities.

• Lead the evaluation of bids, analyze requirements, create drafts, develop responses, conduct review cycles, and ensure submissions are completed.

• Collaborate with sales leadership, engineering teams, and other cross-functional groups.

• Develop customized proposal content that showcases the company’s expertise and value proposition.

• Ensure proposals are aligned with client requirements and industry benchmarks.

• Maintain and enhance the AI-driven proposal content repository.

• Keep the content library accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for use.

• Implement process improvements to achieve measurable outcomes on high-priority projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Writing, Communications, English, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in writing proposals and managing the RF(X) process.

• Experience in bid/no-bid decision-making, proposal lifecycle management, and cross-team collaboration.

• Demonstrated success in leading proposal development initiatives in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

• Familiarity with Responsive content library software (preferred).

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (preferred).

• Knowledge of Adobe PDF tools for document preparation and editing (preferred).

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong capabilities in leadership, collaboration, project management, adaptability, and process enhancement.
