Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all aspects of proposal development for both government and commercial solicitations.

• Facilitate the creation of storyboards, proposal strategies, win themes, writing sessions, and review meetings.

• Develop compliance matrices, proposal management plans, response templates, and additional proposal-development tools.

• Write, edit, and proofread documents related to proposal preparation and business development.

• Organize pre-proposal, kick-off, and status meetings.

• Lead technical reviews and engage in internal assessments to ensure compliance.

• Support pre- and post-submission special projects.

• Research opportunities and collect intelligence on customers, competitors, and potential partners alongside Capture teams.

• Conduct daily stand-up meetings as necessary.

• Record action items, meeting minutes, deadlines, and expectations.

• Ensure 100% compliance for all proposal efforts.

• Maintain internal processes and manage bid workspaces.

• Update boilerplate content and identify reusable materials.

• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant industry experience.

• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a proposal manager.

• Must possess SLED experience.

• Specific training and experience in managing the complete proposal development process.

• Experience in handling multiple, complex proposals for SLED and/or commercial sectors.

• Capability to lead technical meetings with subject matter experts.

• Proficient in creating compliance checklists, response outlines, templates, proposal management plans, and detailed compliance and requirement matrices.

• Ability to effectively manage at least three proposals at the same time.

• Experience with the Responsive.io response management platform or a similar tool is preferred.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to independently meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in managing multiple proposal efforts concurrently.
