Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all stages of proposal development in response to government and commercial solicitations.

• Collaborate with various departments and personnel on storyboarding, proposal strategy, win themes, writing sessions, and review meetings.

• Develop compliance matrices, proposal management plans, response templates, and other tools for proposal development.

• Write, edit, and proofread documents related to proposal preparation and business development.

• Organize pre-proposal, kick-off, and status meetings.

• Identify requirements for responses, solutions, and compliance.

• Lead technical reviews and engage in internal reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

• Support pre- and post-submission special projects.

• Investigate opportunities and gather intelligence on customers, competitors, and potential partners alongside Capture teams.

• Conduct daily stand-up meetings as necessary.

• Document action items, meeting minutes, deadlines, and expectations.

• Ensure complete compliance for proposal initiatives.

• Maintain internal processes and bid workspaces.

• Update boilerplate content and identify reusable materials.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant industry experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a proposal manager.

• Proven experience managing multiple, complex proposals for SLED and/or Commercial sectors.

• Specialized training and experience in overseeing the entire proposal development process.

• Experience leading technical meetings with subject matter experts.

• Ability to create compliance checklists, response outlines, response templates, proposal management plans, and comprehensive compliance matrices.

• Capability to manage at least three proposals simultaneously with success.

• Experience in SLED.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines independently.

• Proficient in managing multiple proposal efforts at the same time.

• Familiarity with the Responsive.io response management platform or similar tools is preferred.
