This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee the preparation processes and timelines for individual study quotations to ensure efficient, high-quality, accurate, and timely submissions.
• Create quotations utilizing the company’s pricing tools.
• Gather quotes from third-party vendors associated with partner companies.
• Engage in strategy discussions and budget review meetings as necessary.
• Support the recommendation of favorable proposals based on set financial and operational criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality and timeliness of quotation submissions.
• Coordinate with Business Development Directors to confirm proposals are thorough and address customer requirements.
• Assist in the development of Business Development presentations upon request.
• Maintain and update the CRM database to ensure the accuracy of departmental information.
• Serve as an expert resource for both internal and external clients.
• Contribute to Proposal Management initiatives.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
• Communicate through phone, video, and email channels.
• Utilize a computer and standard office equipment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science, business, or marketing-related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in customer service or a related area.
• Preferred experience in a contract research and/or research environment.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered as a substitute for the specified education and experience listed.
• Proficient in performing calculations and managing budgets.
• Capable of applying mathematical concepts to budget management for clinical trials.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and clinical research protocols.
• Competent in writing reports and business correspondence.
• Able to present information and answer inquiries from colleagues and clients.
• Skilled in resolving practical problems and addressing various situations with limited standardization.
• Proficient in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
• Quick learner of new database software.
• Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint is preferred.
• Minimal travel requirements.
