This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the commercial execution of RFIs, proposals, cost estimates, pricing strategies, and associated deliverables.
• Assist senior commercial leaders with larger and more intricate opportunities, including significant projects.
• Analyze contract terms and conditions, customer purchase orders, and commercial assumptions in collaboration with Contracts, Legal, Finance, and business leadership.
• Act as a vital commercial liaison with the Global Sales Team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compliant and competitive offerings.
• Develop and implement AI capabilities to streamline and expedite responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Design, construct, and manage centralized databases for project artifacts, technical documentation, and personnel expertise.
• Formulate commercial deal structures, financial models, and governance materials.
• Coordinate cross-functional contributions to align assumptions, risks, and commercial positions.
• Engage in discussions and negotiations with customers and partners.
• Aid in the development of project delivery models and commercial frameworks in collaboration with potential partners.
• Set proposal and contract review timelines and ensure timely completion of essential actions.
• Identify commercial risks and issues, escalating them with recommended actions.
• Create and uphold best practices for document and data management, including AI-accessible knowledge bases.
• Maintain Salesforce and relevant cost-estimating tools.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of commercial tools, templates, and standard procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of 9 years of directly related experience in projects, sales, and proposals.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with proposals, pricing strategies, and business cases.
• Understanding of margin, cash flow, revenue recognition, and net present value.
• Experience collaborating across functions to support complex customer opportunities.
• Ability to influence within a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
• Experience supporting customer negotiations and internal governance processes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and learning agility.
• Experience or a strong aptitude for digital tools, AI-based workflow automation, or database management systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.
