This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle, which includes conducting kickoff meetings, reviewing RFPs, developing outlines, allocating requirements, and assigning authors.
• Manage the timeline, key milestones, and resources for proposals while ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate and supervise content reviews to ensure compliance, consistency, and alignment with winning strategies.
• Edit and format proposal documents to enhance clarity, cohesion, and present a professional appearance.
• Facilitate milestone reviews during Pink, Red, and Gold Team phases.
• Collaborate with Capture Team Leaders and subject matter experts to refine proposal themes and strategies.
• Assist with post-submission tasks, including clarification inquiries, oral presentation preparations, and after-action assessments.
• Maintain consistency across proposal deliverables and address customer requirements effectively.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and proposal management software to create high-quality deliverables.
• A University Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in managing the proposal development process, encompassing planning, execution, and post-submission stages.
• At least 3 years of experience in proposal management or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, including advanced skills in Word and Excel for document formatting and publishing.
• Experience in editing and formatting complex proposal documents for compliance and professional presentation is required.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• APMP certification or formal training from Shipley & Associates is preferred.
• Experience in technical and persuasive writing, editing, and publishing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Experience utilizing AI tools for content development, including prompt creation and refinement, is preferred.
• A background in the aviation industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in Qvidian and VisibleThread is preferred.
