This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +26 more states.
• Spearhead the strategy, processes, content resources, and team dedicated to creating proposal and sales support materials.
• Oversee proposal development services, encompassing hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluation, recognition, and employee growth.
• Enhance team capabilities in proposal development, strategic writing, presentations, consultation, data proficiency, and process enhancement.
• Deliver proposal strategies, responses, presentations, and associated materials that align with quality, timing, compliance, and brand standards.
• Facilitate collaboration with business partners, subject matter experts, sales teams, and leadership on intricate opportunities.
• Assess operational performance, stakeholder insights, workload requirements, and proposal results to identify and execute improvements.
• Implement process, workflow, automation, and tool upgrades.
• Manage governance, organization, accuracy, lifecycle management, and usability of proposal content repositories and knowledge resources.
• Engage stakeholders, eliminate obstacles, establish accountability, and advocate for effective proposal development practices.
• Comprehend and ensure the efficient functioning of assigned internal controls.
• Supervise compliance of designated third parties with contracts, Premera’s Third Party Code of Conduct, and mitigation activities.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of ten years of professional writing experience in marketing, public relations, proposal development, or business communications, with at least five years in the healthcare sector (Required).
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex, cross-functional projects, including strategic responses to RFPs, RFIs, or similar business opportunities (Preferred).
• Background in enhancing business processes, driving change, and managing a proposal content database or a similar enterprise content repository (Preferred).
• Familiarity with process improvement, performance metrics, knowledge management, and AI tools.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, strategic writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation development abilities.
• Capability to translate intricate information into clear, engaging content while building trust and influence across various organizational levels and functions.
