Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in overseeing all facets of proposal creation and bid submissions.

• Support field operations and business development teams in crafting proposals.

• Collaborate with Practice Leaders, business development, and operations personnel.

• Gather and manage proposal responses in partnership with regional teams.

• Evaluate and assess the quality of proposals drafted by others.

• Engage in proposal after-action reviews, process evaluations, identification of lessons learned, and ongoing process enhancements.

• Prepare comprehensive RFP responses, Requests for Information, Cost Opinions, and Statements of Qualification.

• Lead the proposal development process from inception to bid submission.

• Gather, analyze, and communicate metrics and KPIs related to proposals and the Proposal Support Team.

• Potentially take a leadership role within part of the Proposal team.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA or BS in English, liberal arts, business, engineering, marketing, or related experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and producing proposals; preference for candidates with pharmaceutical industry experience.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Capacity to work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet deadlines.

• Ability to frequently adjust priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and achieving high-quality standards.

• Competency in comprehending and organizing extensive amounts of information.

• Effective skills in proposal coordination, including planning, organization, communication, and resource management.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, along with a professional demeanor.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with customer relationship management databases is preferred.

• Ability to navigate Adobe and Microsoft program templates while adhering to corporate presentation standards.

• Team-oriented individual willing to support the team with a variety of tasks.

• Capability to initiate and sustain communication with supervisors and team members.
