This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Oversee proposal activities from the pre-solicitation phase through to final submission, ensuring adherence to schedules, assignments, reviews, and deadlines.
β’ Assist in researching government clients, acquisition pathways, contract vehicles, incumbent contractors, and forthcoming requirements.
β’ Analyze solicitations and create compliance matrices, proposal outlines, checklists, and submission criteria.
β’ Track and monitor government procurement sources and portals for opportunities, amendments, notices, and pertinent customer activities.
β’ Integrate inputs from growth, technical, contracts, pricing, finance, and external partners, converting their contributions into clear, compliant, and persuasive written responses.
β’ Write and contribute to proposal content, including executive summaries, management, past performance, and various response sections.
β’ Organize capture and proposal meetings, keep track of action items, and follow up with designated owners.
β’ Conduct desktop publishing tasks including proposal formatting, editing, quality control, document assembly, and final submission.
β’ Maintain a library of reusable proposal content, templates, past performance data, resumes, and corporate documentation.
β’ Assist in pipeline management, regular reviews, leadership reporting, and analysis of business development activities.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in DoD proposal coordination, business development operations, government contracting, or a similar role.
β’ Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
β’ Outstanding attention to detail and capability to manage several deadlines simultaneously.
β’ Strong written communication, proofreading, and editing skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and take proactive steps to follow up with contributors.
β’ Practical experience with Shipley or comparable proposal development methodologies.
β’ Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
β’ Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
β’ Knowledge of FAR and non-FAR based government acquisitions.
β’ Experience in supporting DoD business development, capture, or proposal activities.
β’ Familiarity with technology, software, AI, defense, or engineering proposals.
β’ Experience using Slack.
β’ Experience with Salesforce.
β’ Legally authorized to work in the United States.
