Property Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage a varied caseload that encompasses both commercial and residential property matters

• Provide legal advice to council departments, senior officials, and stakeholders

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to property

• Offer guidance on acquisitions, disposals, leases, licenses, easements, wayleaves, and land dealings

• Assist in regeneration, development, and asset management initiatives

• Conduct title investigations and perform property due diligence

• Draft and finalize legal agreements pertaining to property transactions

• Counsel on landlord and tenant issues

• Support project teams in navigating complex property-related issues

• Engage in remote meetings to provide legal advice as required

• Maintain accurate case records and effective file management systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx with an active practicing certificate

• Significant post-qualification experience in Property Law

• Expertise in managing both commercial and residential property issues

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating property agreements and legal documents

• Strong knowledge of Commercial Property Law

• Comprehensive understanding of Landlord and Tenant Law

• In-depth knowledge of Property Transactions

• Familiarity with Local Government Property Matters

• Capability to independently manage a caseload

• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities

• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills

• Experience in Local Authority property law (desirable)

• Background in assisting regeneration and development projects (desirable)

• Proficiency in advising on asset management and strategic property transactions (desirable)

• Experience in a remote legal services environment (desirable)
