Property & Casualty Licensed Insurance Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for clients

• Manage both incoming and outgoing customer communications

• Utilize web-based tools to address customer inquiries

• Address and respond to incoming and outgoing customer queries

• Deliver exceptional customer service through active listening

• Treat confidential customer information with care

• Aim to resolve issues during the initial call whenever feasible

• Communicate effectively with customers and engage in retention efforts as necessary

• Recognize price-sensitive customers and assist with selecting appropriate pricing plans

• Navigate sensitive situations related to healthcare needs, education, and preventive planning

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and support departments to address issues and meet performance objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification

• At least 6 months of experience in customer service

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute

• Comfortable using desktop computer systems

• General familiarity with Windows-based systems

• Previous customer service and/or sales experience is preferred

• A college degree is preferred but not mandatory

• Capable of following established procedures

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and support departments

• Excellent communication, listening, and analytical abilities

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure

• Ability to adhere to a structured schedule with varying shifts

• Strong critical thinking capabilities

• Dedicated workspace near router for a hardwired Ethernet connection

• Minimum internet speeds of 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload

• ISP latency should be under 50ms

• Internet connection must not be satellite, mobile data/hotspot, P2P, or VPN

• Proof of internet speed is required

• Must reside in one of the eligible US states listed
