Project Manager – Task Order Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage the complete life-cycle of projects from inception to completion

• Define project scope, timelines, and budgets

• Evaluate customer-supplied Performance Work Statements (PWS) to delineate scope and deliverables

• Identify resources necessary for project completion

• Create cost proposals in response to customer Request for Quotations (RFQs)

• Establish and revise project schedules to monitor progress

• Formulate financial baselines and labor forecasts to assess project financial status

• Collaborate with functional managers to secure essential resources

• Recognize, track, and communicate project risks along with mitigation strategies

• Accurately and promptly relay critical project operation, maintenance, and support information to clients

• Evaluate project challenges, pinpoint root causes of failures, and formulate corrective measures to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or its equivalent

• A decade (10 years) of direct experience with C5ISR systems

• Eight (8) years of direct experience encompassing Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of C5ISR systems

• Four (4) years in a managerial role overseeing RF communications and/or communications networks

• Experience managing project personnel, scheduling tasks, drafting proposals, preparing bids, and controlling equipment and material logistics

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) procurement policies and procedures

• Secret clearance required at the start

• Willingness to travel up to 10%

• Master's degree in business or a related field (preferred)
