Project Manager – Substation & Transmission

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of various transmission, substation, and distribution projects.

• Collaborate with numerous internal and external departments throughout the lifecycle of capital project execution.

• Direct project execution, contract management, planning, and resource allocation.

• Take ownership of project performance, focusing on safety, timelines, budgets, reporting, and overall client satisfaction.

• Manage all phases of the project from initiation to planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closure.

• Lead and guide the project team while mentoring and coaching team members.

• Establish and sustain positive working relationships with client functional leads and stakeholders.

• Drive efforts to successfully complete projects safely, on schedule, and within budgetary constraints.

• Assist in the reporting of key performance indicators related to schedule, budget, and dashboard metrics.

• Identify and mitigate construction risks.

• Recognize, track, and manage changes effectively.

• Engage and consult with relevant stakeholders and supervisors.

• Produce clear and concise project reports that meet client specifications.

• Analyze challenges and offer solutions to enhance project outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management related to Utility, Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields.

• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.

• Background in capital project management.

• Experience acting as a liaison between firm and client in either a supportive or leadership capacity.

• Capability to juggle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in working within a collaborative team environment.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Willingness to travel domestically approximately 10-25% of the time.

• Must not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization.

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Engineering design experience is advantageous.

• PMP Certification is a plus.

• Knowledge or experience in construction/fieldwork is beneficial.
