Project Manager – Software Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning and execution of intricate engineering projects from start to finish.

• Promote agile planning and execution methodologies, tailoring the approach to fit the requirements of each team and project.

• Manage delivery across various disciplines, encompassing full-stack development, computer vision, machine learning, mobile development, DevOps, and quality assurance.

• Monitor project health, key performance indicators (KPIs), delivery commitments, and significant risks, offering transparent status updates to stakeholders.

• Recognize process inefficiencies and enhance workflows.

• Aid in standardizing practices for planning, tracking, releases, and reporting.

• Foster continuous improvement in project management approaches.

• Collaborate closely with Software Development Managers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to convert priorities into actionable plans, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure visibility into delivery progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in project management, technical program management, or engineering delivery positions.

• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and contemporary engineering delivery practices.

• Proficiency with development planning and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.

• Experience in defining and monitoring development KPIs, delivery metrics, release schedules, and resource allocation.

• Proven track record of managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and diverse teams.

• Exceptional planning, organization, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a high level of ownership and accountability.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

• Legally authorized to work in Mexico.

• Possession of PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certifications is highly valued.

• Experience in coordinating customer-facing or enterprise integration projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders is highly regarded.

• Background in mining, construction, autonomous systems, or other industrial technology environments is highly esteemed.
