Project Manager III, Information Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee project execution across the entire project life cycle while adhering to scope, timeline, and resource limitations.

• Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and other project planning documentation.

• Lead or coordinate activities of cross-functional project teams.

• Prepare and present project status reports and updates on performance.

• Develop and execute communication plans informed by stakeholder input.

• Manage projects and associated tasks within a specific product or functional area.

• Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

• Maintain and collaborate on roadmaps for products or service portfolios.

• May supervise the workload of a functional or product team and contribute to performance evaluations and resource planning.

• Represent Liberty University in a professional manner and support its Christian mission.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mid-level technical expertise with transferable knowledge of project delivery tools, systems, or business processes.

• Strong understanding of Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

• Possession of CAPM, CSM, or PSM I certification.

• 3–4+ years of project management or related professional experience is required.

• Experience with teams that utilize chat assistive technologies is advantageous.

• Proficiency in English, including understanding, speaking, reading, and writing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Proficient in standard office software and relevant project/program management tools.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to address routine and complex problems using sound judgment.

• Capability to perform desk-based computer work and data entry.

• A valid driver’s license, acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance are required for driving for work.
